Andrea Schmidt

Dr. Schmidt is a highly accredited dentist and cosmetic dentistry expert. She advanced her training and started her career at one of the Top 3 Dental Schools in the nation. She did her residency at Denver Health, where she committed to a yearlong, highly competitive advanced training protocol in a hospital setting to level-up her approach to complex and emergency dental care.

She subsequently chose The Dawson Academy because of their long-standing commitment to dental excellence and innovation. They’re internationally known to provide the highest level of training for dentists who want to specialize in the clinical mastery of aesthetic dentistry.

She’s always known that owning her own practice was her goal. After obtaining comprehensive-care experience with mentors and thousands of patients, she solidified her vision for a practice that is in-step with today’s lifestyles.

Dr. Schmidt is committed to understanding what patients need, having a highly trained, accountable, and kind team, and counting on precision technology to find the real problem. Her patients appreciate her comprehensive point of view, high-end care, honesty, and commitment.

She graduated from the University of Iowa, College Dentistry in 2010. After completing her dental training, Dr. Andrea decided to strengthen her dental skill and knowledge to provide her patients with the best care possible. She completed a one-year general dentistry residency at Denver Health and Hospitals. While there, she gained additional experience in emergency treatment, treating children, medically compromised patients, and complex procedures.

Dr. Schmidt loves living in Colorado. It fits her active, inquisitive, healthy approach. She’s also a competitive boxer and two-time Colorado Golden Glove State Champion. She loves the mountains and enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping — as long as her beloved retriever Penny can join in the fun. On Saturdays, you can find her cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes football team, even though she realized most of her patients prefer The Buffs.
