Dr. Ashleigh Areias

Dr. Ashleigh Areias is a California native,  originally from a small town in Central California, called Los Banos. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, before going on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2018.

Dr. Areias values building relationships with her patients based on trust, compassion, and mutual respect. She takes pride in delivering the highest quality of care and is deeply committed to lifelong learning. To stay at the forefront of dental advancements, she regularly participates in continuing education courses and study clubs.

She has completed advanced training at the Pankey Institute, where she expanded her expertise in restorative dentistry, comprehensive care, and the treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) and facial pain. Her passion for understanding the connection between oral health and overall wellness has led her to pursue further education through the Applied Integration Academy, the Synergy Academy, and the Institute of Functional Medicine. These programs have deepened her knowledge in integrative care, reinforcing her belief in treating each patient as a whole system—not just a set of teeth. Dr. Areias’s practice emphasizes the importance of nutrition, tongue function, breathing, sleep, and the microbiome in achieving optimal wellness.

When she's not in the office or learning, Dr. Areias enjoys spending time with her husband, Tyler, and their four-year-old pup, Donner. They love to ski, golf, surf, and travel to visit family and friends across the country.
