Dr. Ashleigh Areias is a Northern California native from Los Banos. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, before continuing her education at the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2018.
Dr. Areias is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care. She has a particular passion for biomimetic dentistry, a philosophy that focuses on preserving and restoring natural tooth structure with minimally invasive techniques that mimic the form and function of healthy teeth.
Dr. Areias continually expands her expertise through ongoing education, participating in courses and study clubs to stay at the forefront of dental advancements. She is a student at the prestigious Pankey Institute, where she has honed her skills in advanced restorative techniques, comprehensive care, and the management of TMD (temporomandibular joint disorder) and facial pain.
In addition to her dental practice, Dr. Areias is passionate about fitness and nutrition. As a certified nutrition coach, she believes that nutrition plays a vital role not only in overall health but also in maintaining optimal dental health. She is happy to discuss how dietary choices can support your smile and your well-being.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Areias enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband, Tyler, and their four-year-old pup, Donner. The trio loves skiing, hiking, surfing, and traveling to visit family and friends across the country.
