Dr Harindu Rajakaruna

I am Dr Harindu Rajakaruna, Associate dentist here at Grandstand Dental Care. I have been creating smiles since 2016 when I graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours. My dental journey commenced when my face became well acquainted with a basketball, and through the process of regaining my smile, I found my passion for dentistry.

Melbourne has always been home, but after working in both private and public practice here, I moved to Canada to pursue further training and qualifications in digital dentistry as well as a Mastership in biomimetic dentistry.

I know that a smile is more than just what you see- it has profound impacts on your physical and emotional health. As such, it is important that we can understand what is most important to you so that we can create personalized treatment in the most comfortable environment possible.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy all aspects of basketball, travel and cooking. On my days off you can find me with my dog, Moose, exploring and enjoying the outdoors.
