Course Summaries
Level 1: October 20-21, 2017
This 2-day hands-on program will teach you everything you need to get started with biomimetic dentistry including the core science, techniques, and materials. The emphasis will be on posterior restorations, though the principles are applicable everywhere. Level 1 hands-on training utilizes models designed by Dr. Nejad to simulate and practice the different biomimetic techniques including Deep Margin Elevation (DME), Immediate Dentin Sealing (IDS), stress reduced direct composites, indirect cementation & bonding protocol, restoring endo treated teeth, and more. You may take Level II advanced training immediately after (October 22-23, 2017) or anytime in the future (offered once per year).
Level 2: October 22-23, 2017
Prerequisite: Must have completed Level 1 training.
The Level II presentation focuses on more advanced clinical concepts, further scientific literature review, and advanced clinical cases. The emphasis is on reviewing more scientific articles comprising the foundation of the biomimetic approach, and the resulting clinical relevance of this science. You will also learn advanced techniques and materials for anterior restorations, isolation, and full mouth restorations.
