Dr. Jeffrey Hoos CV:

Dr. Jeffrey Hoos is a highly respected, world renowned dental practitioner.He has invented many successful techniques to improve the quality of life for his patients including the H and H impression method.


Dr. Hoos graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine with a DMD degree 1978 after receiving his MS degree in Biology from the University of Bridgeport and his BA degree in Zoology from Drew University. Dr. Hoos is a Fellow of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Implant Dentistry. In the first group of general dentists to be Brandemark certified to place implants and then went on to be Brandemark teaching center. Dr Hoos has written numerous articles, contributing editor, and lectured at most major dental meetings. He is a KOL for a number of companies and has a monthly column in Dental Economics, Practice Building 101.


Dr Hoos has been practicing the concepts of tooth conservative, biomemetic dentistry for years. Always working towards mimicking nature in everything he does.


Dr Jeffrey Hoos opened his private practice in 1979 with one dental chair and a baby that came one week later. Today 43 years, the Brush & Floss Dental Center with 5 dentists and a staff of twenty five. Dr Jeffrey Hoos is a “wet figured” dentist who practices 170 days per year, in Stratford, Connecticut. It has developed into a group practice of general dentists that is open six days a week and four evenings a week. Dr Hoos’ educational goal is to provide dental education for dental professionals that will enhance their professional lives that will allow them to provide a higher quality care for their patients. The basis of his whole educational philosophy:
