Dr. Daneya Laing has over 25 years of experience in the field of dentistry. She has worked in dentistry from a very young age in different aspects of dental care. She has degrees in dental hygiene from Virginia Western Community College and Old Dominion University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. She has completed advanced surgery courses in periodontal treatments and is an expert in periodontal disease maintenance. Her past career as a dental hygienist adds great value to the comprehensive dental care she offers as a dentist. She has many years of experience providing individualized care for all ages- the very young and the very aged. She takes a holistic approach to dental treatment and offers minimally invasive and alternative treatments to conventional dentistry that often sacrifice healthy tooth structure for the sake of dental materials. Dr. Laing completes continuing education in minimally invasive, biomimetic adhesive dentistry, and functional health on almost a daily basis.
Along with valuable professional experience, she is especially empathetic to the daily struggles to maintain ideal healthy habits in a modern world, with her own experience of being a wife and mother of 7 children. She enjoys working with families with young children as well as expecting mothers in providing guidance on the prevention of dental disease and can provide most dental treatments for any age in a calm and comfortable environment. She has many years of experience providing individualized care for all ages- very young and very aged. She is passionate to offer the best quality of dental care possible, whether major or minor treatments needs.
