Dr. Patel was born in Pomona, CA, raised in Yorktown Heights, NY, and later moved to Philadelphia, PA where he attended Drexel University. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with a concentration in Organismal Biology & Physiology [Cum Laude]. He spent the following year as a full-time Teaching Assistant in Molecular Biology at Drexel University.
He then attended Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. During his training, Dr. Patel discovered a passion for biomimetic dentistry. Being able to conserve tooth structure and the artistry involved in restoring teeth to their natural form drew him to learn more about the topic.
After graduating, he went on to complete a Biomimetic Mastership at the Nejad Institute where he met Dr. Yuko. She sparked his interest in Biologic dentistry and Dr. Patel is now undergoing IAOMT Accreditation.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Patel plays for Boston Glory in the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL). He also enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, and travelling.
