Dr. Gregory Smith graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2008 from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. He completed Lutheran Medical Center’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in 2009 while working as a resident in Tucson, Arizona. In 2010 he moved to Colorado Springs where he helped start and grow Colorado Dental Group into a successful practice. In 2013, he helped open Woodmen Dental Group. He began working full-time at Woodmen Dental Group in late 2016. He has participated in Colorado’s Mission of Mercy, offering free dental care to those in need, and participated in the Big Brother Big Sister program. He is a member of the Colorado Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. He likes to work with all kinds of patients, from children to the elderly and is particularly adept at helping patients with high dental anxiety.
Dr. Smith is originally from Pleasant Grove, Utah. He has a bachelor’s degree in English literature, speaks decent Bulgarian and Spanish, and in his free time enjoys outdoor activities like backcountry skiing, mountaineering, hiking, and traveling.
