Dr. Lázaro Acosta, DDS, originally received his doctorate from the University of Havana, Cuba in 1990 and expanded his studies to become a maxillofacial surgeon in 1993. After leaving Cuba he moved to Santiago, Chile where he revalidated his degree in general dentistry at the University of Chile.

In pursuit of the American dream, Dr. Acosta moved to the United States and went on to revalidate his general dentistry license once again at New York University School of Dentistry in 2012 and has been practicing in Naples ever since.

He is an active member of the dental community and is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of Toxicological Sciences.
