I am fortunate to have been in practice in NYC for many years and am highly trained in all phases of dentistry. I am a proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and also received a certificate in Family Dentistry from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine ( a 2 year general practice residency program following my graduation from dental school). I am also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and take many continuing education courses.
I am very empathetic and skilled in treating patients who are either fearful or nervous about receiving dental care. Our staff includes a dental hygienist who has a masters in psychology and our office administrator and dental assistants are very helpful with patients in terms of allaying their anxieties. Our staff has been with our practice for many years.
I am an Alleman-Deliperi institute certified Biomimetic Dentistry instructor. In addition to being Past President of the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry and a founding Vice- President, I have given numerous lectures on this subject; 3 at Penn Dental Medicine, my alma mater, one at Columbia University School of Dentistry and one at Tel Aviv University School of Dental Medicine in Israel. I have also been fortunate to lecture dentists in Warsaw Poland about Biomimetic Dentistry as well as leading hands-on sessions for dentists there. Additionally, I have written several articles for the Keystone Explorer of the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry.
I have had the privilege of lecturing nationally and internationally to both study clubs and dental institutions, as well as training dentists and their staffs in their offices. I welcome helping patients and dentists alike in helping to educate everyone on the virtues of Biomimetic, tooth preserving dentistry. I am presently President-Elect of the ABD and will be privileged to again serve as President in 2 years.
In the age of Covid-19, Biomimetic Dentistry is ideally suited to complying with CDC guidelines for Dentistry, in minimizing aerosols, treating the immediate dental problems at hand in a tooth conserving manner, minimizing chair time and creating less discomfort for the patient. I welcome your inquiries about how Biomimetic dental procedures can help save your teeth in a more minimally invasive way.
