Saul Pressner – Biomimetics – AFDVI
At the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry, we strive to get the latest news and technology on tooth preservation and dental conservation. Through Biomimetic Dentistry, we have cracked the code to making our patients happier by saving more tooth structure while spending less compared to conventional treatments. Our mission is to promote the use of adhesive chemistry to put teeth back to its original strength and we believe that it is the best way to treat dental problems without the major risks that come with traditional procedures.
We are proud to support our members; Dr. Saul Pressner is leading the movement in the importance of Biomimetic Dentistry to the masses. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Pressner is currently the President-Elect of the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry and has served as President in 2016 and 2017. He has since authored two articles on Biomimetic Dentistry in the PAGD Journal and has also given lectures on the subject at Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Saul Pressner is also a board member for the “American Friends of Dental Volunteers for Israel,” which was founded in 1980 by the late Trudi Birger, a Holocaust survivor, microbiologist, and dedicated humanitarian activist.
In the last 40 years, 6,000 dentists from 40 countries have volunteered at the clinic, giving their service to tens of thousands of special needs and underserved children, as well as at-risk youth. Just last year, 140 dentists volunteered and provided 10,844 treatments to 2,711 young adults and kids. Furthermore, DVI’s Smiles for Seniors program provided 154 elderly, many of whom were Holocaust survivors, with free dentures in it’s third year (2018-2019). Dr. Saul Pressner is always looking for ways to share his knowledge and help those in need, so show your support and donate to this wonderful cause.
